1) SLEEPING- Did you know that you burn calories while sleeping? In fact, you can butrn up to 400 calories while sleeping depending on how much you toss and tuen at night. That is why a huge part of weight loss is getting enough sleep!
2) GARDENING- Not all of us have a garden or even like to garden, but some say that a 3 hour gardening session is equivalent to an intense exercise session in the gym! Keep in mind this includes- Mowing, Weed Eating, Trimming Hedges, and of course Planting Flowers!
3) WALKING THE DOG- Most people love to have a furry companion, so why not have fun with them and burn calories at the same time? Walking your dog for an hour a day can burn up to 200 calories Of course this would depend on how fast you are walking and how long you are walking a day.
4) CLEANING HOUSE- We all do it, so lets make the most of it! From sweeping to scrubbing countertops, and even dusting the furniture can burn up to 300 calories depending on how long you're cleaning and how much back you put into it!
5) DANCING- A lot of us see dancing as a fun activity and not so much as a calorie burner, but you'd be surprised! If you are on the dancefloor dancing to intense fast paced music, you could burn up to 500 CALORIES depending on your height and weigth! Yes, that's right, 500 calories!
6) WASHING THE CAR- If you are one of those people who prefer to wash their car to make sure you get every nook and cranny, then this is for you! If you clean your vehicle inside and out, that usually will take around 2 hours of hard work! Doing so could bur up to 500 calories depending on how hard you're working and your height and weight. If you want to burn a few extra, wax those rims as well!
7) SHOPPING- We like to shop and no I don't mean online shopping! Shopping around the mall can actually burn quite a bit of calories and those shopping bags contiuously grow in your hands so the weight of the bags actually increases the calories you are burning! This of course depends on how long you're in the store, how much bags you have, and how much you have been walking.
8) WATCHING TV- Okay i know what you're thinking, you have been told that watching tv can do the opposite of helping you lose weight. But, watching tv for an hour does burn calories as well, especially if you are watching an intense sport and you are jumping up amd down.
